DRDB has given its clearance to 536 schemes

• Delhi Rural Development Board (DRDB) has given its approval to 536 schemes related to improvement of roads, drains, water bodies, Community Centres, parks, Play Grounds and others.
• The decision to this effect was taken at the Board's meeting Chaired by Delhi Development Minister Gopal Rai.
• The schemes will be implemented in a phased manner and about 2 crore rupees will be spent per village.
• Apart from providing basic amenities in urban areas, the City government is committed to provide facilities to the people living in rural areas too.
